What is a Diaper Cake?
A diaper cake is an impressive and practical baby shower gift, perfect for every new or expectant mom. It is in a tower form made of individually rolled disposable diapers arranged to look just like a Cake! The cake is often packed with goodies either hidden or displayed creatively on the outside. And more often that not, our Little Rascals cake often make crowd-pleasing centerpieces with the “oohs” and “aahs” from guests.
How many tiers can Little Rascals Diaper cake be made of?
Our Diaper cakes can range from single tier to 3 tiers.
What types of goodies used in Little Rascals Diaper Cakes?
The goodies can range from practical and useful baby items such as baby bottles, baby clothes, baby bath products and baby bibs to baby toys such as rattles, cloth books and bath toys. The choice is limitless!
All items used are baby-safe and baby-friendly. They are from reputable baby supplies stores and are of favorite and reliable brands such as Johnson & Johnson and Munchkin.
We also take great care and effort in selecting matching fabrics, items and embellishments to suit each color or theme, making sure your cake will be a gift that everyone will be talking about.
Are the diapers glued together?
No. Our method for constructing diaper cakes is very secure, and every cake is guaranteed not to fall apart during delivery. At the same time, our cakes are easily dismantled, and all the diapers and supplies can be used.
Are the diapers useable?
Yes. The ribbons come off easily and the diapers are ready to use. Everything in the diaper cake is new and completely useable.
Can you do custom diaper cakes?
Absolutely! You may email us and we will let you know if the cake you envision is possible. We are also able to customize according to size, price, color, theme, character and many more! Please keep in mind that custom cakes will usually cost more if we do not have items for a particular theme in stock and may take a little longer time to “bake”.
Are the diaper cakes pre-made?
No. All our diaper cakes are ‘baked’ only when you place your order and are handmade with love and care. You can be assured that your diaper cake will be beautiful, original and personal.
How are the diaper cakes constructed?
Each diaper cake is lovingly handcrafted in a smoke and pet free environment. Upon request, your diaper cake can also be wrapped prior to delivery for added hygiene measures.
We also take great care and effort in selecting matching fabrics, items and embellishments to suit each color or theme, making sure your cake will be a gift that everyone will be talking about.
Will the diaper cake be similar to the ones in the photo/ gallery?
Our diaper cakes are often custom made for every order; in other words we attempt not to repeat the same look & feel.
In instances where you would like us to ‘bake’ you a similar cake, we will do it especially for you. However, we cannot guarantee that we can duplicate the diaper cake in the photo identically as each and every diaper cake we create and put together is an original and individual creation. We will keep you informed on our eventual designs.
And because your diaper cake is constructed only when you place order with us, some items may not be available. We will however replace the items with another of equal, if not higher value and we will always stay within the theme or color that you have selected.
What kind of diapers are your Diaper Cakes?
Our cakes are ‘baked’ using only trusted and reliable brands such as Huggies, Drypers in Size S, which can fit babies up to 15lbs. We prefer not to use newborn-sized diapers as some babies may outgrow these diapers quickly, while some babies may be born a little too big for them.
How long will it take for my diaper cake to arrive?
We know how excited you are to see your lovely diaper cake! Please allow 4 days (after payment is made and cleared) for your diaper cake to be constructed and be ready for delivery.
You will receive an email confirming your order and another when we receive your payment.
Where do I collect my cake?
For any orders above $80, deliveries are free!
Self-collection is possible. We will communicate the pick up details with you!
Can you deliver the diaper cake to the recipient?
Certainly! When you place your order via our online order form, please indicate the name and address of the intended recipient and the date and time you would like us to deliver the gift.
What if I would like the cake to be delivered to the hospital?
This is also possible. Please indicate the hospital, ward and bed details and we will deliver it there just for you!
What is the price of the diaper cakes?
We don’t list our prices online because we prefer to work with customer’s budget as a guide, plus we do not want to turn anyone away with the prices listed. It would be safe to say that a realistic budget will be at least $80 for a one-tier diaper cake. Sometimes. A diaper cake with baby items of particular theme, like Manchester United football theme for example, may cost slightly more as the “ingredients” will be hard to find locally and we may need to source overseas.
For smaller budgets, we can still put together diaper cakes made entirely of diapers only and decorated with ribbons and flower like these below.
As a rough guide of the budgets we have worked with so far:
One-tier diaper cakes: $80 onwards
Two-tier diaper cakes: $100 onwards
Three-tier diaper cakes: $120 onwards
But please do not let these prices scare you away. We are passionate to ‘bake’ the cakes for you and are willing to accommodate and cater to your budget requirements. We appreciate the joy of giving something really special to a loved one and the satisfaction of knowing that your gift will be appreciated. Hence, we certainly do not wish to deny you of this.
How do I make payment for the cakes?
A 50% deposit is required for order totaling more than $80. The remaining amount is payable upon delivery or self-collection.
This deposit is non-refundable and if the order is cancelled 3 days prior to delivery or collection.
For deliveries directly to the recipient, full payment is required 3 days before delivery date.
For orders placed less than 5 days from the date of delivery or collection, a full payment is required no later than two days upon order confirmation.
What methods of payment accepted?
At this moment, we can only accept bank transfer payments. Payment can be made to POSB Savings Account 129-02055-5.
What is the return/refund/exchange policy?
Our gifts are handmade from scratch only when an order is placed and are thus fresh and brand new, and with no defects. Therefore returns and exchanges are allowed only for defective or damage items on the part of Little Rascals. Refunds are not allowed.
Defective or damaged items are defined as any item that fell apart or are ruined during delivery and arrives at your doorstep in an unsatisfactory condition.
Please contact us within 2 days of receiving the cake should you wish to exchange the defective/damaged items in its original ande unopened packaging to guarantee a return. Items must be in new, unused, unwashed and unopened condition. If items are found to be used, damaged or defective at no error on our part, you will not be entitiled to an exchange.
Little Rascals reserve the right to refuse any returns and exchanges on any of our cakes or gift items.
